LOVER The Label, Witchery & Sabo Skirt

4 favourite new get-ups:

Sabo Skirt jacket, Joie dress, Gorman clutch, Natasha heels

Gosh I love this outfit! The jacket is nice and light and while I do wish it was slightly better made at least it looks good and I can wear it in summer. This dress has definitely become my new fool-proof LBD and with the bag and shoes its a perfect spring outfit for the tropics. Floral jackets and pants are definitely a bit of fun so give them a go if you haven’t already.

Witchery neon knit, Kookai skirt, Tony Bianco pumps, Gorman clutch, YSL arty ring

Another FAVOURITE outfit of late. The colour is so out-of-character for me but I feel like its another good spring outfit. Especially for nights out with a cool breeze. Plus neon is so very on trend right now.

LOVER The Label dress, Eclettica clutch, Betts pumps

LOVER The Label on sale? YES! PLEASE! I don’t know what to say about this dress other than I’m in love with it and wish I had a billion black tie events to attend so I could repeatedly wear this. And the quality is superb! There’s nothing I like more than a wow dress that’s quality. I will be buying more LOVER in future even if it’s not on sale and costs me an arm and a leg.

Witchery bargain

20120207-123412.jpg

The lovely people at Witchery sent me a $20 reward the other day so of course I trekked down to the shops to check out what I could get on my very limited budget at the moment.

I found a great $30 bracelet set which is simple and will match a lot of my wardrobe. I’m thinking it will go with my 21st outfit nicely too.

When I got the counter I discovered it was actually in sale. So instead of paying a $9.95 difference, I got $20 off (making it $9.95) and now I still have $10.05 reward left to use. Bargain! Perhaps I should have gotten two?

Today’s Outfit: office appropriate

Top: Cue
Skirt: Witchery
Bag: Longchamp
Shoes: Tony Bianco

A new work outfit of mine I wore the other day. The top is very easy to wear and a comfortable and light material. It’s also not too plain for a white shirt, with the gathering around the collarbone adding detail. The skirt is also comfy, albeit picks up dirty easily. Simple work accessories like the bag which isn’t too big or small, a nice small heel so I can run after people in them, and my silver ball bracelet finish the look off.

Today’s Outfit: casual lunch chic

Top: Forever New
Shorts: One Teaspoon Hawks
Jewelry: Diva necklace, YSL arty ring
Bag: Witchery
Shoes: Natasha

This is a lovely new outfit I wore to lunch the other day. The top was a gift from my Nan for Christmas and I adore the bright fuchsia colour; it goes perfectly with my turquoise necklace. To keep the look casual I wore it with cream high waisted shorts, however will wear it with a black mini skirt to go out sometime soon. The gold ring and bag details tied the outfit together nicely as well. Definitely an outfit I’ll be rocking again! HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!

Last Saturday night I headed to The Grates concert at a local venue with plans to hit up the annual Fetish & Fantasy Ball afterwards. Since my amazing We Are Handsome dress hadn’t yet seen the light outside my up cupboard I decided to wear it out even if it wasn’t perfect for the occasion.

The dress is so skin-tight that a g-string was highly visibly underneath but I luckily had an extremely seamless pair of normal undies which luckily didn’t show. I paired the outfit with my Witchery clutch and some clog-like heels from Tony Bianco in a nice brown colour, because unfortunately I had no other heels that were both super high and matched.

While We Are Handsome hovers around the AUD$200 price range, they have some fantastic prints on offer in all their collections and the price is definitely worth it. You’ll be very comfortable and you’ll have heaps of fun wearing their great prints. The number of compliments I received about the dress was crazy—but then who doesn’t like colourful hot air balloons?

I wish I had visited Betts before I wore this dress out, however. The above pair of shoes are the nude coloured Dorothy pumps and, wow, aren’t they amazing! Next pay cheque I know what I’m investing in!

With a size 5-6 foot I often have difficultly with shoes, and my size often changes depending on the style (5 for open toe, 6 for a closed toe pump). Luckily, I fit the size 6 perfects and found the medium width of the shoe really helps to make it more comfortable.

10.5cm high with a 2cm platform, these babies are super comfy and will surely stand the dancing-till-dawn test. Once I get my hands on a pair I will be rocking these with my We Are Handsome dress for sure! Other colours are available as well as a strappy style and a wedge style; so if you need some sparkle in your life head on over to Betts ASAP!

p.s. Excuse the messiness of the room in the picture, my brother is super messy and I don’t have a full length mirror in my own room!

p.p.s. If you haven’t seen The Grates live then you need to. I believe they sound better live than they do on CD–not to mention the forever energetic Patience Hodgson (lead vocals) really knows how to perform.

Today’s Outfit: Sunday Sesh & Movie Chic

20111123-155322.jpg

I’m running a bit slow posting my Today’s Outfit blogs so please forgive me. The above outfit is what I wore to Sunday drinks at the beach for a friend’s birthday. Very comfy, a little bit unique and not to OTT for the beach.
Top: Ricochet
Shorts: Oneteaspoon
Shoes: Natasha
Bag: Witchery
Jewelry: Yves Saint Laurent arty ring, Tiffany & Co necklace and pendant.

On Monday night I went to see Twilight Breaking Dawn part 1 with some girl friends. Since movies are always cold I took my cute little American Vintage cardigan and then added more colour with my Diva necklace (around $10-$20 I think) and my favourite bag right now.
Dress: American Vintage
Cardigan: American Vintage
Shoes: Natasha
Bag: Longchamp Le Pliage Tote in grape
Jewelry: Diva necklace, YSL ring.

Just a quick blog/study break with a few things I’m lusting after right now. Oh how I wish my budget looked like it does normally!

Camilla and Marc dress from Revolveclothing.com. I would totally wear this as a guest to my brother’s formal if my bank account was looking a bit better and I wasn’t so concerned about looking like one of the students. The colour is amazing!

I love Paige Premium Denim’s verdugo jeggings also from Revolveclothing.com. They’re slightly thicker than J Brand jeggings but just as comfy and they’re oh-so soft! I have a burgundy colour already but wouldn’t mind this lovely magenta colour as it’s the kind of colour that goes with everything! Plus they’re a little bit attention grabbing, but not too much.

Next up are some gorgeous Witchery sandals. They look great on and I love the multiple coloured ankle strap. Just add a sweet little top, short shorts and a small handbag and you’ll be ready to roll! I’m currently torn between buying these or a cute pair of sandals from Country Road. As the Twitter world would say, first world problem, much?
