Green With Envy E-Boutique

So excited that Green With Envy’s e-boutique is live! I’m not sure how long it’s been live, but super exciting news nonetheless. I loved the store’s collection on the trips I’ve made down south and now I don’t have to wait for a Melbourne trip to get it. Some of the brands they stock I’ve been struggling to find a decent collection of online.
So because it’s lecture recess and I have plenty of time on my hands, here are all of my current lusts from the site! Enjoy!

Therese Rawsthorne 200 Balloons Dress – you may have noticed me drooling over this shape for a while now. I just love this feminine shape and in this case, the way the material and colour contrast it. Can you imagine this with a wicked black pair of (potentially stud covered) pumps?

Shakuhachi leather angled skirt – if only they had my size. I love the cut of this skirt: classy, yet a little bit interesting and different.

Nicola Finetti block out full circle dress – as much as I don’t wear pale blue, I adore this. It reminds me of a very chic Alice In Wonderland outfit.

Manning Cartell magic flute drape dress – the cut of this dress is beyond amazing. And the colour is amazing. I don’t even know what I’d pair this with because I can’t think past the gorgeous shape and colour.

Lover infinity tuxedo jacket in ruby – I really don’t think this needs much of an explanation. Just amazing. I’d pair it with matching coloured heels and would wear everything else – nice top and fitted pants – in jet-black (including dark eye makeup) for a strong, sexy look.

Lover serpent mini dress in black – I tired this on in David Jones and wished I hadn’t. So amazing, fit perfectly, and out of my budget.

Kirrily Johnston stretch leather dress – just wicked.

Josh Goot clean a-line skirt – is there anyone around who doesn’t love this print?

Josh Goot leather quilted harness crop top with quilted mini leather skirt – so not my personal style but I love it nonetheless.

Ellery Barbados lace dress – oh, look at that lace! Amazing!

Ellery Scorpio rising blazer in yellow – so not my colour but so ridiculously amazing. What a cut!

Ellery graphite a line dress in black – I’ve loved this since the moment I set eyes in it. So very me!

Camilla and Marc Rhiannon draped pleated dress – not too bad a colour but it’s the cut that I love. So sexy and feminine.

Online Shopping Pretties

Just a quick blog/study break with a few things I’m lusting after right now. Oh how I wish my budget looked like it does normally!

Camilla and Marc dress from Revolveclothing.com. I would totally wear this as a guest to my brother’s formal if my bank account was looking a bit better and I wasn’t so concerned about looking like one of the students. The colour is amazing!

I love Paige Premium Denim’s verdugo jeggings also from Revolveclothing.com. They’re slightly thicker than J Brand jeggings but just as comfy and they’re oh-so soft! I have a burgundy colour already but wouldn’t mind this lovely magenta colour as it’s the kind of colour that goes with everything! Plus they’re a little bit attention grabbing, but not too much.

Next up are some gorgeous Witchery sandals. They look great on and I love the multiple coloured ankle strap. Just add a sweet little top, short shorts and a small handbag and you’ll be ready to roll! I’m currently torn between buying these or a cute pair of sandals from Country Road. As the Twitter world would say, first world problem, much?

If you too are bored and needing a break from study during exam period, it’s definitely worth checking some of these items out; perhaps you can buy now for a post-exam treat in two weeks? X

Tuba Rose, Cairns

If you ever take a trip to Cairns in far north Queensland and don’t know where to head for some cute fashion; head to The Pier on the marina and check out Tuba Rose. With cute clothes by Mink Pink, Blessed Are The Meek, Staple, plus many more, as well as jewelry by Samantha Willis and an array of hot little bags and heels; this well rounded store is definitely worth a visit.
A year ago today I discovered this boutique while in Cairns with family and I went a little crazy and bought heaps. Unfortunately for me, this year’s Cairns trip was on a budget, meaning I couldn’t afford to go crazy a second time. If I could have afforded it, I’m sure I’d have bought a Sass & Bide top or two – a designer only introduced to the store this year it seems – as well as a gold bangle set by Samantha Willis.

Hi, my name is Rosie and I’m a shop-a-holic.

Yes, I have come to terms with being a shop-a-holic. I cannot help it though! Working at Cubah/Miss Ruby doesn’t help either. There’s always something new in that’s super cute or something I’ve always liked that just when on sale for a really good deal, the cycle never ends.

This week I’ve been a very, very bad girl. I finally bought a pair of JBrand’s leggings (a.k.a. jeggings) and they are absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend anyone who likes skinny leg jeans to get a pair. Not only are they lighter than jeans, it’s a lot easier to move about and yet they’re heavier and thicker than your average legging which gives you more coverage and warmth (I guess) around the derrière region. I only bought them on Tuesday and I’ve worn them 5 times this week – that’s how great they are. I bought them in pitch colour, however, I intend to buy another pair in grey.

JBrand leggings - VERY comfortable

JBrand leggings - I have black and now I want a grey pair like these because they are so fantastic!

Aside from jeggings I got my Maurie & Eve dress off lay-by. I bought the Observation Dress in Folk Print. It’s very cute and I’ve included a picture for you all. The Letter Frock by camilla and marc was my other indulgence for this week. I lay-byed it from work. Very gorgeous and comfortable dress. I can’t wait to wear it in summer with a lovely pair of tan wedges.

My lovely father also bought me a new pair of Tony Bianco flats back from his trip to Melbourne. I always like having a pair of Tony Bianco’s tan or beige flats in case no shoes I own match an outfit or I don’t want to wear any of my other shoes. These are very gorgeous and similar to a pair of Pedro García skull ballet flats from either last year or the year before’s collection. Needless to say, I’ll be wearing these babies to death!

Next on my buying agenda: True Religion white denim shorts and a camilla and marc sequined top. Two items that, when paired together, gives a hot look for a casual night out in the summer. Just add converse or cute sandals. I’m also chasing after a nice messenger bag, just like the one by Proenza Schouler.
