A Winter Look

Despite the fact I’ve been freezing my bum off lately, I’m enjoying finally wearing some of my winter-wear. I haven’t been able to wear my lambskin leather jacket by White Suede since I was in Melbourne and Tasmania at the start of the year, so it feels great to be wearing in the non-aircon! White Suede have repeated this jacket a few times, while I bought mine back in 2009 it’s available right now in both short and long sleeved. Let me tell you right now, it’s great value for money!

Recently, I purchased a gorgeous little Natasha dress on sale for $120 (originally $250). It’s from the Spring/Summer collection just gone and is a super sweet shift in white with gold stripes & some black beading dividing up the skirt ruffles. There is a black and pink version but the white suited me the best.

Firstly, this dress is super comfy and so very sweet. Secondly, nude underwear is all you need beneath it (no annoying slips!) Thirdly, if goes so well with my cropped leather jacket. The ruffles on the skirt of the dress poke out underneath, keeping it feminine but weather appropriate. It’s not overly cold in the tropics, so one jacket is usually enough for most of winter.

I finished my look with hot pink lipstick, tan embellished flats (for day) and a black leather bag. I think it’s my fave look in my wardrobe right now!

P.s. Please excuse the photo quality. Too much uni study hasn’t allowed me to blog much or take pics using my SLR!
